    Committee for Our Future (C4F) is a subcommittee of the Section on Emergency Medicine (SOEM) of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  The Committee is active in endeavors to advance and foster mentorship and collaboration among PEM faculty and fellows around the country and world.  It is active currently in promoting Simulation as a PEM educational resource.
    2009 activities include Legislative action promoting pediatric emergency care and pediatric care in general.  Click below on the links to find out how you can get involved locally.

    From the C4F Co-Chairs:  

          In an effort to improve the overall PEM experience of both junior and senior faculty members, the SOEM C4F is sponsoring a Mentorship Program through this PEMFellows.com Portal.  The goals of this program are the following:

    • To create a one-on-one relationship between a junior and senior PEM practitioner
    • To provide an outlet for advice on career planning
    • To offer a learning venue from someone with valuable experience in the field of PEM
    • To maximize AAP Members' Section experience.

          Please browse through the available documents of this Mentoring Portal within PEMFellows.com.  You will find application forms for both junior and senior faculty members; fill out the one that applies to you and e-mail it to Prashant or Lina.  C4F will arrange the mentorship relationships and you will be on your way!
